Bachelors Grove Cemetery is well known as one of the most haunted places in all of Chicagoland. This small desecrated graveyard has more unexplained paranormal activities than any other cemetery worldwide.
One of the most famous sightings is the woman sitting on a tombstone, this picture shows the transparent image of a woman sitting on a small checkered tombstone looking out into the woods. This photo was taken by Jude Felz and published in the Chicago Sun-Times.
The woman's face seems flat, with only a hint of a nose visible. Her feet blend into the grass (which appears white under infrared light), giving an appearance of translucence.
Since this photo was taken, the checkered monument has been photographed hundreds of times without producing anything nearly as spectacular.

Ghost Photo
Jordan Martin, 12, took a series of photographs as the couple danced at their wedding reception at Tewkesbury Rugby Club, Gloucestershire.
He was left speechless when he flicked through the pictures afterards and saw the haunting image of a woman's head and torso floating inches from the ground near the DJ booth.
He said: "I didn't see the ghost until a couple of days later when I was looking at the pictures on the computer.
"When I saw it I was like 'wow' and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought it was really weird because it really looks like there's a ghost in the picture."
The picture was taken as newlyweds Nigel and Helen Davis took to the floor for the first dance after their wedding at Gloucester Register Office.

Ghostly figure found on real estate listing photo
A Florida man was browsing real estate listings when he noticed something strange in one of the listing photos. He posted the odd image of the foreclosed home on Reddit.
According to an online Pensacola MLS listing, the 4-bedroom brick home is located on 6040 Badger Road, in Milton, Florida and is on the market for $149,000. There are thirteen photos of the property and in the last image a strange shadowy figure seems to have been captured.
Reddit user LaBertie posted the image of the real estate listing featuring a sealed foreclosed home. In the final photo of the listing, a figure is seen peering through the window of the back door of the home.
"We researched the house and found out that an 81-year-old lady bought the house years ago and died inside. She had no close family which is why it went into foreclosure," LaBertie claimed in a post.
According to LaBertie, the real estate agent said that the house has been sealed for years and she was the only one there when taking the photos.

Ohio child battling cancer photographed with ghostly figure
A family in Kirtland, Ohio noticed a strange figure in a photograph with their daughter earlier this year. Erin Potter is seen in the photo with a ghostly figure beside her. Cleveland's 19 Action News interviewed the Potter family regarding their experience.
At the time of the photograph, Erin was battling leukemia. In the photo, Erin is pictured running through the yard with sparklers. Next to her is a red figure that some people believe is the Virgin Mary. The Potter family also thinks the figure is the Virgin Mary.
Erin was diagnosed with leukemia in February 2007. During her battle with cancer she has went through many bone marrow transplants. At the time the photo was taken, she was about to undergo her second transplant.
"I know she's not alone, I know we are not alone and people who don't want to believe it, that's okay. Whatever happened, you know something powerful and special was there with us. I definitely have my moments when I'm falling apart and I'm terrified and I literally grab my phone and I stare at that picture." Erin's father Kevin Potter said.

GHI Investigation York Little Theater - York PA
Formed in 1933, York Little Theatre is one of the oldest continually operated community theatres in the United States. Initially the main concern of the early YLT was to provide quality theater, so they made the effort to hire the best the most professional directors they could find. The building itself could wait. Good direction and good actors could put on an excellent show almost any place, and in early years, the plays were put on in various school auditoriums, with the sets being trucked to the stage site. In 1953, YLT successfully acquired a home of their own. Elmwood Theater has greatly changed over the years, becoming better with each renovation.
Paranormal Claims:
Hearing footsteps and shuffling
Boy ghost playing hide the ball with the Custodian
Screws and nails being thrown
Shadow of a man with a hat and coat, which we feel we captured on video tape with one of our IR cameras
Ghost Hunters Inc investigation
Investigators, Allen, Nancy, Lisa, Jaisana, Scott, Don, Alvin, and Mike
Arrived at the York Little Theater around 9pm, Eric walked us threw the maze of rooms and told us the paranormal claims of each area.
10pm we set up our equipment.
11pm we get investigating Alvin and I set up in the green room to do an evp session, once we started our session it didnt last long, because we were having camera trouble.
I got with Don to figure out our camera problems, we quickly got a fix. Don and I decided to do an evp session on the stage of the theater. During the walk through Allen GHI founder had seen a shadow on the stage. We sat a toy truck in the middle of the stage and tried to persuade the little boy to move it. We had no luck with the toy.
We got a call from Scott whom was in the light room. He was hearing noises in the room behind him, what we were calling the mirror room. There are reports of hearing footsteps in this room. Don and I quickly got up there to investigate. We got up there took a good look around and found nothing that would or could make the noises Scott was talking about. We set up there and did an evp session for about 20 minutes.
I have captured an evp while doing this session: Please leave comments to what you think it says.
In the room we called the black room (because everything was black walls ceiling etc.) Nancy and Lisa had a shadow move in front of them. This is the same room where there was a paranormal claim of being scratched. Lisa had put here hand towards it and felt a cold spot, the temp gun reported a 10 degree difference. Nancy snapped a photo and caught an orb.
Scott had captured this image on the IR camera that was on the stage. Here there are reports of a man with a hat.
Below are still shots from the video:

The Gordon Mountain Ghost
Gordon, PA is where one of the most famous ghost stories in Schuylkill County is located
The Gordon Mountain Ghost, or the Broad Mountain Ghost.
A little history:
Back in the mid to late 1920s a young woman’s body was found on the Gordon Mountain along a road that leads from Heckscherville to Gordon. She was partially burned and unrecognizable. To this day the case is unsolved. The woman’s identity is unknown, as is her murderer.
There are many stories of this ghostly woman, wondering aimlessly through the mountain.
The most popular is:
On a full moon your traveling along the old mountain road towards Gordon, a woman brushing her hair is sitting on a large stone along the road. Your car lights dim and the engine shut off. She gets up and walks to the car, and looks in all the windows searching for her murderer. Once she realizes her murderer is not there she disappears, the car will start up and you can drive away.
Was it a Hoax?
A man by the name of J. Seitzinger claimed to have hoaxed a lot of these sightings. There were stories of a woman on the mountain, many people wanting to see the ghostly woman drove to Gordon to have a look for themselves. Seitzinger heard of this and felt it was his duty to make sure people saw something, using mannequins and sheets.
Why investigate a known hoax? We have had reports of cars shutting off, radios turning on, and many weird happenings on this road. Some folks claimed to see something.
I certainly believe that all hauntings the public has access too, may have been hoaxed at one time or another. Does it mean that it is all a hoax? Probably not, somebody saw or heard something to get it all started.
Investigation
August 6th 2009
Investigation time: 9 pm to 12:30 am
The road that leads from Heckscherville to Gordon is new, and is not the road that the experiences are on. The new road is called Gordon Mountain Road; the stories are on the old road, called Mountain Road.
Some say this road is no longer there, with developing and new highways put in the area. Part of the road is still there and it is the same part of the road that the experiences were on. The area where the woman’s body was found is still there untouched.
We arrived at 9pm, mounted video cameras on our vehicles, and drove the road. We drove this road six times.
We then walked the road; the road is not very long about 2 miles.
We then walked up to the area where the body was found, not knowing the exact spot we stopped at several areas to do some EVP work.
Findings
Unfortunately we did not capture or experience any paranormal events.
Our vehicles didn’t even sputter along this road; we captured nothing on the video cameras.
Walking the road we heard the usual night life sounds in the woods nothing out of the ordinary.
EVP sessions revealed nothing.
The old Gordon Mountain Road gave us nothing paranormal, does it mean there is nothing going on there? One investigation revealing nothing doesn’t mean there isn’t something paranormal there. I do plan another investigation there. We now know the location where the body was found.
If you've had an experience or more information on the Gordon Mountain ghost please email me.
